ColorLogics warrants each laser and Ink Jet cartridge to be free of defects in both materials and workmanship for a period of (1) one year. ColorLogics cartridges are manufactured under the most stringent quality control standards possible, guaranteeing performance that meets or exceeds that of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

ColorLogics will replace any of its printer cartridges found to be defective. ColorLogics also warrants that, subject to the conditions below and under normal use, our cartridges will not cause damage, abnormal wear or deterioration to any compatible printer.

ColorLogics will reimburse the customer the full amount for all service and repair of the printer. This warranty is dependent upon the customer providing us with satisfactory evidence that the printer failure was due to a defect in the ColorLogics cartridge, including a written statement on an authorized service companies letterhead, dated and signed by the company's field sales or service representative. The product that caused the damage must be returned to ColorLogics. ColorLogics liability hereunder shall be limited to the replacement as stated above.

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantibility and fitness for a particular purpose.

The tampering of any ColorLogics cartridge by any persons other than a ColorLogics representative voids all warranties and releases ColorLogics liability as stated above. All returns must be returned in the original packaging with proper protection. Any return without proper packaging will not receive credit.

US Congress Passes New Legislation!
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act United States Code Annotated Title 15 Commerce and Trade Chapter 50 Consumer Product Warranties 15 Section 2302

No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection may be waived by the commission if:

The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and the Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest.

What this means to printer users…
The manufacturer of the printer you are using cannot void the warranty on your printer because you exercise your right to use a cartridge manufactured by someone other than the printer manufacturer. This prohibition includes the use of compatible cartridges, clip-ons, continuous feeding mechanisms, etc.
